With MFW19 passing by in an absolute blur, I wanted to stop and recap the week that was.
This year, I was extremely lucky to be able to pick and choose what I wanted to attend, which meant I was able to see the shows I really wanted to and skip those that didn’t peak my curiosity.
I have always loved NARS as a brand, from their gorgeous products and shade range, all the way through to their incredible collaborations. It’s not often you find a beauty brand that launches so many products but keeps their standard so high. I swoon after just about every product they launch and their latest products are no exception.
It comes to this time of year, around Fashion Week in Melbourne, when sometimes you can get a little down with all the pressure. I never really speak negatively or talk about the times where I may not be as happy as I normally am, but I promised all of you, that I would be more open and transparent with you all.
One of Australia’s most recognised brands, Thurley is back for VAMFF this year and hitting the ground running, with three shows. I recently attended the latest viewing of the new season collection and is every bit as stunning as other collections, with a more refined sense to really fit the Australian relaxed style.
To kick things off, I thought I’d start with the gifts for the beauty queen, because this is pretty much me. I want to start off this post as well as this gift guide, by explaining a little more about how I create my gift guides.
