QUEENSTOWN FAVOURITE: NO5 CHURCH LANE
As part of our Queenstown getaway we booked into No5 Church Lane for a stunning dinner in the most beautiful restaurant, complete with fireplace and wall of wine bottles. We were greeted with the cocktail list which we couldn’t resist we had to try, along with a local bottle of wine, which we were told No5 will be revamping their wine list to include only local wines which we absolutely loved the idea of and can’t wait to try next time.
For dinner we made it easy and went for the No5 Meze which is based on the Greek/Turkish custom of sharing small dishes, similar to a degustation but a more reasonable amount of food. The chef decided the dishes and honestly, every new dish that came out was even better the last.
We made our way through the menu starting with the chargrilled cardona lamb ribs, roast beetroot falafel and hand cut chips. We finished off the meal with the chocolate fondant and granita, which were the perfect way to end an incredible night.
